Describe your role at NBBC. As the Missions Director, my roll is to encourage and create opportunities for the members of NBBC to reach out into our community.

 

What is your personal mission for the role? My personal mission is to share the Gospel message, and the love of Christ, in new and engaging ways. 

 

Describe a time in your life when God taught you a valuable lesson, or a time when God revealed Himself to you in a big way. The closest experiences I have had, where I felt such a connection with God and was able to communicate most clearly, has been on the mission field. When you are removed from your regular life, and are completely focused on serving a community away from your own, you really begin to seek God's guidance more than ever. You are able to remove yourself completely from the scenario and just serve God and love others. This is why it is so important for me to be able to provide opportunities for our church to serve through short term mission trips. There is as much, if not more, gained in growth, fellowship and relationship, for the missionary as there is for the people being served.

Choose a movie title that describes your life, or describe the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time.

 

"Singing in the Rain"
Not only is this an excellent movie, but the title really fits my personality. I am an easy going person that doesn't let stuff bother me. I don't get mad easy and can continue singing... even in the rain... get it?

 

What is your favorite cereal? Frosted Shredded Wheat- It appears to be healthy, but really I love the frosted side!
